As an intern at Carbon Five, the SFMOMA site redesign was one of my first projects. It was incredibly instructive because I began working on the development side and went on to work at SFMOMA as a web-producer through the site's content migration and launch. I've always been grateful for the experience of being both the agency and the client so early in my career.
At C5, I got insight into iterative development practive, writing CSS for HOT Stuio's design, customizing CMS functionality. At SFMOMA, I became the user of the product I had helped build and learned so much about content creation, image production and management, and the maintenance and changes required over time.
