When designing our guest room, I was thinking of my family. I wanted to create a space that would make them feel at ease. It was also important to me that it had a sense of place. To add to that, I researched Hawaiian Quilts and illustrated a couple of posters I could include in the space.
I completed these illustrations and interior design as part of the Kailea House project.
The loft, or as we like to call it, “the bird cage”
